Born in Winchester, Guppy was spotted playing for us and offered a chance with Southampton FC in March 1989. He made a handful of appearances for Saints reserves before moving to Wycombe Wanderers in September 1989. He turned professional with Wycombe in 1992, at the age of 23. Guppy enjoyed a 19 year pro career representing Leicester City where he won the Football League Cup; and Celtic where he won the Scottish Premier League. He also went on to gain 1 full senior cap for the England National team. Prior to turning pro he worked on building sites.
Born in Southampton, Roberts joined his local club Southampton FC as an associate schoolboy in 1973 but 'slipped through their net' and was later picked up by rivals Portsmouth FC. In 1980 Tottenham Hotspur paid £35,000 for his services and were duly rewarded when he helped them to lift two FA Cups and the 1984 UEFA Cup. Roberts moved on to Rangers for £450,000 where he won the League & Cup. He also won the 2nd Division emphatically with Chelsea who had paid £475,000 for his transfer, and won 6 caps for the full England National Team.
Born in Winchester, Salmon was transferred from Romsey Town Reserves for a negligible fee in 2009, having spent the majority of his career playing for Lapstone FC. A tough tackling right full-back who possessed blistering pace, Karl made a name for himself due to his exceptional crossing ability and dominance in he air. He was a crucial member of Micky Pratt & Ged Magee's league winning team of 2009-10.
